Two doctors investigate a series of botched operations at the hands of a fellow surgeon.

Dr Henderson and Dr Kirby bring their fight to the Texas Medical Board as Duntsch's early years begin to reveal the man he is today.

Duntsch attempts to gain privileges at another local hospital as Henderson and Kirby travel to Tennessee to interview an important player.

In flashback, Duntsch sets up his medical practice in Dallas for the first time as Henderson and Kirby take extreme measures to stop Duntsch.

Assistant District Attorney Michelle Shughart joins Henderson and Kirby in exploring legal solutions while Duntsch is recruited by a medical centre.
